1 week old already!?

I cannot believe out little sweet pea has been with us for just over a week! It feels like we've always had her in our lives but I still can't believe it's already been a week since we met her for the first time!

Here are some notable things that have happened during her first week of life:
  • She is on a great schedule (with some wiggle room) and she's eating and sleeping well.
  • She gives us numerous little grins while sleeping.
  • She loves to snuggle with daddy.
  • She made a best friend in Grandma Timothy who was here for the first four days after coming home from the hospital. (Seriously, this woman is the baby whisperer...it's kind of not fair! :P)
  • She had her first check-up with the pediatrician (to check her jaundice, weight, and eating)
  • She had her newborn pictures taken (which she wasn't very cooperative with...but I'm sure will still turn out cute!)
  • She had her first real fit and screamed like we had never heard her scream before.
(It was after pictures, and I think she was just done being messed with)
  • She had her first car rides to Roosevelt (for pictures and to pick up our car from the body shop)
  • She is learning to take a pacifier instead of eating her hands (SO glad about this one)
  • She sleeps just like her mommy sleeps. (Arms up by her head)
  • And, she got to meet more cousins, aunts and uncles.
I cannot imagine life without her, and I'm pretty sure she's the best thing ever. :)

Here are some pictures we took of her this week.

Sleeping like mommy.

Grandma spoiled me and bought me this CUTE little dress!

The hat that may be too big, but it's SOOO cute.

Happy that she found her fingers to suck on!
